Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Oversee the planning, procurement, storage control, and distribution of materials and products according to company needs and customer requirements
• Assists in production planning and scheduling based on releases and sales forecasts
• Maintains inventory levels to ensure deliveries occur within customer timelines
• Works with Purchasing Clerk to schedule delivery of materials and supplies
• Monitors storage of purchased parts and finished goods
• Produces reports to reflect current dollar amounts of inventory
• Performs other related duties as assigned
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the proven ability to work well with all levels of management and staff
• Proficient with inventory reporting systems
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Sheets or similar software
• Business Administration background preferred
• Experience in the materials control field preferred
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift 10 to 15 lbs. at a time
• Must be able to use ears and voice to communicate with vendors, suppliers, customers and co-workers by telephone and/or email
